My Philosophy

I collaborate with my clients to capture genuine, photos in any location. It’s important to use both the environment and the lighting available no matter where we are. I direct the model with poses and also like to incorporate action and emotion. The best pictures can happen in those in-between moments of a photoshoot when you’re just talking, telling a joke, etc. This is the reason why I shoot in burst mode. I don’t like to follow a pre-determined formula or create too many rules around a shoot as it’s sometimes better to improvise. I draw inspiration from anything and anywhere (movies, other photos, etc.) Props can be important too because you can get them from practically anywhere, use anything, and get creative with them in any way you can imagine. As you can tell from my photos, I dislike editing them heavily. Letting the imperfections, the mistakes, and the accidents makes the photo more believable, more real.

  • I send you moodboards with plenty of poses to learn from. I encourage you to practice in the mirror!

What if I'm too nervous?

  • If it's your first time doing this, then it's completely normal to be nervous! I'm super easy to work with. Let's hop on a call to get acquainted before our photoshoot.

I don't know if I'm pretty or photogenic enough.

  • Everyone is photogenic and can have a "good side." Let me guide you through the shoot and poses and let's find it together.
